Payfine breaks new records
During the months of November  and December 2008, and January 2009, the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) ran a 50% off “promotion” on outstanding traffic offence fines. So, as an offender, you were given the opportunity to pay only 50% of the value of any fine incurred before November 2008. 

This clearly presented an opportunity that most offenders wanted to take advantage of.
