    Job Description

    Job Description

    • The system support technician is a position within the Road Safety system support team responsible for providing assistance to customers and operational staff by installing, configuring and supporting computer software and hardware. The system support technician is the point of contact for incidents and service requests.

    Responsibilities

    • • Install and configure of new hardware and Software
    • • Monitor and Maintain systems and infrastructure

    Job Description

    • • Contract manager within the Road Safety business unit in Syntell. Road Safety provides a turnkey solution to enable vehicle related enforcement services. Effectively we provide traffic departments with all products and services to enable the issuing and collection of traffic violations.
    • • Manage the relationship with the customer on a day to day basis on the ground
    • • Manage the general operations from a Syntell perspective within area.
    • • Building a good relationship with the entire traffic department as well as other role players (ie courts etc)
    • • Drive the utilisation of mobile cameras within the traffic department
    • • Ensure all fixed sites are always fully operational and yielding good volumes
    • • Drive summons serving. Both with the external service provider but also with the traffic department
    • • Drive and manage any other operational needs (blitz operations, roadblocks etc)
    • • Manage and Control Contract Obligations and SLA's
    • • Manage Customer Relationships and Expectations while Promoting Syntell's capabilities
    • • Manage and Monitor Contract and Project Performance (financially as well as operationally)
    • • Run or attend Customer, Traffic Officers, Partners and Supplier meetings
    • • Coordinate and Control Customer requirements for new features and functions
    • • Manage, control and expedite technical issues as they arise. This includes the managing of a technician on site that will report into the contract manager
